Delivering a host of scheduling solutions to the contractor on DC’s latest Class A commercial office building

Working with the general contractor, Whiting Turner, OCMI provided scheduling consulting services, including baseline schedule development, detailed CPM schedule updates, time impact analyses, and delay mitigation for this commercial renovation project.

An existing YMCA building, the project involved renovating the current space into a Class A commercial office building located in downtown Washington, DC. The project’s scope included the demolition of the existing structure and using the skeleton for the new building. The seven-story, 102,000-SF building featured floor-to-ceiling glass and related to the area’s historical context.

The building included a host of amenities to meet the Class A standard, such as a naturally lit fitness facility, a penthouse conference facility and lounge, a landscaped rooftop terrace, and private roof decks on the penthouse and seventh floors.
