Sheetal Patidar
We are excited to shine a light on one of our exceptional team members, Sheetal Kumar Patidar. Sheetal is a Senior Cost Estimator in OCMI’s Charlotte, NC office. He ensures the delivery of high-quality estimates that meet client requirements and supports the scheduling team in preparing CPM baseline schedules. In his dual role, Sheetal mentors other team members in the Charlotte office in their professional development and growth within the firm. Q: What has been your most meaningful accomplishment so far?
A: After completing my architectural degree from NIT in India, I was driven by a desire to explore global opportunities and push the boundaries of my knowledge and skills. Moving to the USA and enrolling in NC State for the Construction Management program was a significant step in my journey, both professionally and personally. This journey to graduation has been filled with numerous challenges and rewarding experiences, culminating in what I consider my most meaningful accomplishment.
Q: What brought you to the city/town where our office is located?
A: Having spent a couple of years In Raleigh, NC during my master’s at NC State, Charlotte’s charm and prospects drew me in. I enjoyed pleasant weather, a thriving food scene, and easy access to both mountains and beaches. Plus, its diverse neighborhoods and growing cultural diversity make it an exciting place to live.
Q: How does being certified in both estimating and scheduling bring value to your projects and/or team?
A: Overall, being certified in both estimating and scheduling enhances the quality and efficiency of project execution, leading to more successful outcomes for our projects and team.
Q: What are some of your favorite local spots to visit?
A: I love attending festivals and visiting museums in the city, watching Panthers games, exploring South End, and constantly discovering new spots as Charlotte continues to grow.
