The OCMI team has been providing various consulting services for Clark County School District (CCSD) every year for the past 20+ years. Our range of services covers scheduling, cost estimating, constructability review, change order review, value engineering, and construction management services. Additionally, OCMI provides detailed cost and schedule training to District project managers and staff at the agency’s request. OCMI periodically trains the owner, architect, contractor, project managers, and superintendents, demonstrating best practices for schedule preparation, updating, and delay analysis.

Through this program, we have supported the district on over 400 projects for new construction, renovations, major TIs, and infrastructure improvements, relying heavily on CM@R delivery as a cost-effective approach to project management. Subsequent revisions to the CIP and periodic reallocation of funds have allowed for further growth and development of the 2015 bond program, which is currently valued at $15B.

Program and Project-Level Scheduling: OCMI has provided program and project-level scheduling services on over 80 projects for the district. With our understanding of their standard guidelines, we often provide multiple services on a singular project, including scheduling, cost estimating, constructability review, and bid reconciliation. OCMI is regularly tasked with delivering reports, including baseline schedule reviews, monthly updates, recovery schedules, bi-weekly updates, and reviewing and commenting on-time impact analysis assessments. We built and currently maintain a customized program-level schedule. This allows for bridging between multiple CCSD jurisdictions and project managers for one single point of scheduling information to be delivered and analyzed. We also deliver trending information on their program and can customize CCSD reporting through dashboarding.

Cost Estimating Support Services: Through on-call contracts with the District, OCMI provides cost management services on priority projects throughout the District. Project scopes include HVAC replacements, facility renovations, classroom additions, roof replacements, site modernizations, new construction, and demolition and rebuilds. Notable cost assignments include the Career Technical Academy Building, Southwest High School, the JD Smith Middle School Replacement, and the Indian Springs K-12 Replacement. To date, OCMI has assisted architects on over 180 projects in support of the District’s Capital Improvement Program to improve access to quality education facilities for the students of Clark County.

Construction Management Services: Under a two-year agreement, our Vegas CM team supports improvement projects at multiple school district campuses, providing on-site project management and project engineering services.
