OCMI Project, Culinary Health Center, Honored at CMAA National Conference with Project Achievement Award
Las Vegas, NV – October 2018 – O’Connor Construction Management, Inc., a leader in quality management solutions for the built environment, is proud to announce that we are the recipients of a National Project Achievement Award from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) for healthcare facilities valued less than $50 million recognizing the Culinary Health Center.
O’Connor was initially contracted by the Culinary Health Fund to develop a total project cost for the renovation and addition of the 60,000 SF full-service health center located in Las Vegas, NV. We were then hired to provide owner’s representation services during bid and construction phases for this $19 million project. The Health Center provides patients with high quality care in an environment distinguished by increased access to medical services and focus on the patient experience.
Team collaboration during construction was integral to success. All parties addressed any conflicts with solution-oriented approach 100% of the time. With this emphasis throughout the project, all team members understood the end goal and how to work together to move the project along.
On hand to accept the award at the CMAA Industry Recognition Dinner on October 16 were Justin Peterson, O’Connor President and Project Executive, John Socha, Project Manager at Culinary Health Fund as well as our Construction Manager Bob Stefko.
